These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of M2C2 software, hardware kits sold by Anakatech (“we”, “us”), and our website. By purchasing, downloading, or using our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the products.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms limits those non-excludable rights. Where liability can be limited, our liability is limited as described below.

2. Software licence

When you purchase a software licence, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use M2C2 according to the tier you purchased:

  • Pro: typically one (1) mirror / device at a time per licence key, unless otherwise stated at purchase.
  • Family: up to five (5) devices in a single household, as described at purchase.
  • Developer: broader rights for development and publishing as described at purchase, subject to the Developer agreement or addendum if we provide one.

You may not redistribute, sell, or lease the software separately from an authorised sale by us. You may not reverse engineer the software except to the extent permitted by law. We may use technical measures (including online licence validation) to enforce device limits.

3. Updates

We may provide updates, patches, or new versions. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, updates for your tier are part of the product experience. We may deprecate features where reasonably necessary for security or compatibility.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use M2C2 in violation of any law or third-party rights;
  • Attempt to disrupt our services, licence servers, or other users;
  • Use M2C2 to harass, harm, or monitor individuals without lawful authority and consent;
  • Share or publish licence keys except within your household as permitted by your tier;
  • Misrepresent affiliation with Anakatech or M2C2.

5. Hardware

Hardware kits are described on product pages. Specifications may change between batches where we substitute equivalent components. You are responsible for safe installation (mounting, power, ventilation) and compliance with local electrical and building rules where applicable.

6. Refunds — software

30-day money-back guarantee (software): If you are not satisfied with your M2C2 software licence, contact us within 30 days of purchase at support@anakatech.com with your order details. If your request meets our reasonable verification checks, we will refund the software licence fee to your original payment method where possible. After a refund, your licence key may be revoked.

7. Returns — hardware

Hardware returns are handled under the ACL and any return policy published at checkout. Change-of-mind returns may be offered at our discretion where goods are unused and in original packaging; shipping costs may apply.

8. Warranty — hardware kits

Anakatech hardware kits include a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use. To make a claim, contact support@anakatech.com with proof of purchase and a description of the fault. Remedies may include repair, replacement, or refund as required by the ACL.

The warranty does not cover misuse, liquid damage, unauthorised modification, or consumables (e.g. SD card wear beyond normal life) except where the ACL provides otherwise.

9. Disclaimer — software

Except as required by law, the software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for backups and for how you configure integrations with third-party services.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for loss arising from these Terms or the products (where liability can be limited) is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, or re-supply of the affected service, whichever we choose.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss (including lost profits or data) except where the ACL or other law requires otherwise.

11. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.

12. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to licence validation or support where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, or a material breach of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Western Australia.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The updated date will be revised. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of reasonable changes. Material changes to paid services may be communicated by email or on the website.
